Bangkok III: Wat Pho + Yaowarat Part II

October 2014

Entry to Wat Pho after coming from Tha Tien pier and crossed the opposite to the temple. Entry ticket is 100 baht which comes with a free bottle of mineral water.

On the walls and the ceiling are beautifully painted illustration of a town and its residents.

There's strict dress code inside the temple. No shoes allowed and no revealing of arms and skin above the knees. I wore a sleeveless top and had to wear a green outer clothing to cover up.

There are certain spots where you can stand on to take a good photo with the reclining Buddha.

Donation of 20 baht where you are give a bowl of coins to put inside the 108 bowls to wish for good luck.
