TOKYO II: Day III - Omohara Cafe-Sanrio + Character Street @ Tokyo Station

July 2014

I wouldn't be in Tokyo when My Melody Cafe opens on 18 July 2014. Luckily, there's Sanrio Character ranking cafe at Omohara Cafe. The combination of the word Omo from Omotesando and Hara from Harajuku that create the word Omohara.  It will be around from 28 June - 31 July 2014. Located at Tokyo Plaza at Omotesando Harajuku, it gather all the Sanrio Characters in one place and of course, I was there to vote for my favourite - My Melody.  (Update: The winner is ......My melody ^_^)

Location: Shibuya-ku, Jingumae 4-30-3,
Tokyo Plaza Omotesando Harajuku, 3F

Can't stop selfies with my ice cream

This is the last to go - My Melody Biscuit. It's so cute and I can't bear to eat it :(

Next stop: Heading over to Character Street at Tokyo Station, Look for the Yaesu Exit

Here's Tokyo Character Street - featuring Rilakkuma, Ultraman, Tamagotchi, Hello Kitty, Snoopy and many more.

Characters featured

Tokyo Banana - the yummy creamy custard banana pastry above.

I bought the plastic boxes of 4 banana pastries each, one original flavor (483 yen), the other caramel flavor (515 yen)

Caramel Banana Pastry is cute. The caramel taste is not that strong and I prefer the original flavor for the stronger banana taste.

At Calbee Shop, there're giant packets of Calbee potato chips.

Snacks, Snacks, Snacks, I love snacks!

There's even a Gundam Cafe here

Tokyo Ramen Street  (shown above) located within walkable distance underground.

Up Next: Tsukiji Market + Zozoji Temple + Tokyo Tower
