It's spring time and Seoul is cold to me with a temperature of 11-14 degree Celsius. I came out of Incheon Airport feeling the chill with my skin underneath the clothes. I boarded airport limousine bus 6009 and alighted at the first stop - Sinsa-dong.
With guidance, I checked in to a guesthouse and bought my Seoul City Pass Plus card which is 3000 won with the discount booklet for tourists. I regretted getting it since the coupons feature discounted attractions and shops which I had no interest in. I should have gotten myself the normal T-money card which the locals use which is cheaper at 2500 won.
It can be bought at ticket vending machine at the subway stations and the Seoul City Pass Plus comes in a small box with the coupons
20% Sachoom Dance Musica, Kaist Eyewears, Sweating Sauna and Massage @ Myungdong Mud
With my stack of 10,000 Korean won, no issues with expenses!
With this useful map, I managed to find Hello Kitty Cafe by taking the subway and exit from Hongik University Exit 9. It is easy to find the cafe with its pink exteriors.
The desserts are so cute! Even though I am not a Hello Kitty fan, the cakes are still irresistibly cute! The staffs are friendly and no communication problems when placing orders as the counter girl can understand English well.
The ground floor design has cute Hello Kitty arm chair and after placing an order for a green tea latte and chocolate banana waffle, I went upstairs and was greeted by so many Hello Kitty prints.
Love the cute Hello Kitty design using green tea powder on my latte
Green Tea Latte - 4500 won
Waffle - 4500 won
The interior is so cute and pinkish that I can't stop taking selfies!!
They provide free wifi in the cafe and you can ask for the password at the counter.
Inside the toilet, there is this Hello Kitty Mirror. Awesome!
Everything in the cafe is all about Hello Kitty - Hello Kitty wooden tables, hello kitty serviettes, glass wall, and even the toilet.
Hello Kitty Lamp
It is nice to spend a lazy afternoon having high tea here with friends.
Wall prints along the staircase
Goodbye Hello Kitty!
Up next, I walked over to Thanks Nature Cafe to see cute Korean sheep!
Please await for my Bangkok post of Hello Kitty House Bangkok
